Conference Venue
With the A-H1N1 flu showing no sign of abating, the public health authority in China has requested that passengers from North America to Beijing voluntarily keep themselves for a few days away from crowded places such as schools. The convening of such a conference on campus in September might cause alarm among some students. It is only a little more than two months before the conference, so if we count on the change of unpredictable factors, we will have no time to deal with a contingency.
In accordance with government regulations, the host of the Congress has shifted the conference venue from BFSU campus proper to FLTRP International Convention Center, a property of the University. The Convention Center is a 4-star standard multi-functional conference and training complex, located in the suburb of Beijing, about an hour away from the campus by bus. Since its opening early in the century, the Center has successfully hosted numerous international conferences. It is well-equipped and can accommodate all the participants. Moreover, the hotel offers half prize for its hotel rooms to all registered participants of the IASA Congress. With this rearrangement, all events of the 4th IASA World Congress will be held in FLTRP International Convention Center, where all participants will stay during the conference. As for a guide to the specific conference rooms used during the Congress, you will have a list of the final arrangement at registration on site.
The change of conference venue entails changes in Accommodation and Transportation. Please make sure you understand the new arrangement before leaving for China.

由于甲型H1H1流感疫情未能及时好转，国家公共卫生部门要求来自北美的人员主动远离人群密集区。原计划在北京外国语大学校内举办国际美国研究学会第四届世界大会现需要更换会场地址，现特此通知如下：
